This drive was kept in storage for well over a decade or two after its use and had some exposure to the elements thus explaining appearance of cloudy oxidation spots located throughout bottom chassis.

5 diskette, a direct audio cable which may or not be the original that came with it, but judging by unusual connector type, it almost certainly has to be, since appears proprietary 3 pin connection and is compatible drive itself. While rummaging through old computer parts that i'm currently listing, I came across the original box for this drive and am now including it in listing.

What you see in the pictures is will get this listing. I can't say for serif the original color of this drive was white or beige due to yellowing plastic brought on by years.

The included ide cable has also developed some stains on it that are hard to remove alcohol. The box has some wear on it, obviously, but it is still perfectly sturdy enough to house drive in. The controller card has some slightly bent pins on ide ribbon cable header, however, seems to insert easily into without that much effort.

This drive has sprocket type plastic gears with teeth in the spot where modern belts can be found on most other drives. This drive would make a good collectible for any retro pc builder out there, or just about any technological historian collector with working knowledge on how to properly restore broken drives. As far the actual data hook ups was concerned, drive could not be tested due to recent unexplained power failure, so apparently this no longer functions way its supposed and is only being sold for parts or repair.

So my best guess is that there must be an electrolytic cap or some other kind of internal power component such as a fuse has failed somewhere, maybe the mole socket itself experienced type failure. At first glance, the interface on back of drive appears to be a little larger than normal, but its regular ide connection type with an extra pin left side, which I can only assume must for master slave configuration jumper is not included. It is an internal drive which doesn't have the drive belt in usual spot front, but rather within housing.

The stains on this ribbon just won't rub out, however, these should't affect cables' performance.

For testing purposes, the drive was plugged into a standard mole 4 pin power connector, and green light came on, tray ejected and closed while button pushed however, it did have tendency to close rather abruptly upon opening, this issue may been resolved with belt being replaced during more recent up test, failed on. The drive belt was replaced with a newer one, which is bit smaller but then again old may have been worn out, accounting for considerable amount of stretching out that it had on. This rf shielding exterior also appears to have developed some oxidation on it mostly from storage.
