I do not have any 5.25 floppy disks to fully check operation, but the drive makes expected access noise when attempting change letter. TEAC FD-505 Combo Drive Dual 3.5 and 5.25 Floppy Disk. I've owned the drive since around 2001 and it has been stored away in a box for past 20 years. The 3.5 drive operation has been verified by booting a Windows 98 boot floppy.
